Detail is the key to excellence in this house.

The house that is the grand prize in the 2010 Hospitals’ Home Lottery is now available for viewing.

The three-bedroom house, located at 80 Sutherland Close in Red Deer and built by True-Line Contracting Ltd., is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The $690,000, 2,500-square-foot dream home includes waterfalls over the fireplace and a vehicle lift in the two-car garage.

The house isn’t the only thing up for grabs in the 12th Hospitals’ Home Lottery. The number of available prizes increased to 450 this year from 200 in years past, and for the first time the value of the prize list exceeds $1 million.

Money raised from ticket sales will go to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre trauma centre.

The trauma centre, the third largest in the province, deals with a large spectrum of patients, excluding head trauma and spine trauma cases. Staff there handle more than 300 hip fractures and 250 ankle fractures a year.

Tickets are $25 each and are available by calling 403-340-1878 or by visiting www.hospitalslottery.com. The final draw for all prizes will be on June 25.
