CARMA offering one-day workshop on lean thinking, manufacturing
Central Alberta manufacturers and other businesses have an opportunity to learn about lean.
The Central Alberta Rural Manufacturers Association is offering a one-day workshop on lean thinking and lean manufacturing principles. Scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Black Knight Inn in Red Deer, Lean 101 will utilize a hands-on simulation to teach participants the five steps to lean thinking, the difference between value-added and non-value-added activities in an office and manufacturing environments, the importance of cross-training, and other lessons.
