The provincial government is calling for Alberta companies to participate in a trade mission to Doha, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Scheduled for approximately Nov. 3 to 14, the trip will begin in Doha and then continue to Abu Dhabi, where the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference will run from Nov. 10 to 13. That event ranks among the top three oil and gas events in the world. Participating companies will have exhibit space at the conference, as well as the opportunity for one-on-one meetings, market briefings and networking events. The trade mission is being organized by Alberta International and Intergovernmental Relations, along with the federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, the Canada Arab Business Council and Export Development Canada.
