Cattle producers will have the opportunity for higher learning on March 3. That’s the day Cow-Calfenomics 2011, a one-day workshop being held at a half-dozen locations across Alberta, will arrive in Ponoka. Topics to be covered include opportunities and risks in the global and North American markets, financial performance, the replacement heifer dilemma, cattle price insurance, backgrounding and finishing, and 365-day grazing and spring calving.
