Shunda Construction workers install new east-side windows of the Berry Architecture building this week. The former Red Deer Bowladrome located at 5218 50th Ave. is undergoing extensive renovations by owner George Berry to turn its second floor into offices for his business, Berry Architecture and Associates Ltd. while he plans to lease out the ground level. The environmentally friendly project will feature green roof, high-efficiency condensing boilers, a heat-recovery system, ventilation in occupied rooms only, daylight-sensing lights, soy-based insulation, and solar power and water heating.
