Elvis will rise from the dead three times during the Elvis, Elvis, Elvis in Concert show on Wednesday at Red Deer’s Memorial Centre.

A whole lotta Elvis — from his early suit-and-tie days to his final jumpsuit days — will be portrayed by three world-class Elvis impersonators who represent different eras of The King’s career.

First comes the 1950s swivel-hipped superstar, complete with blue suede shoes, who will open the show with his twitching lip and pompadour hairdo.

Next comes the leather-suited performer of the 1960s, who left overcome female fans fanning themselves in the aisles. He will be joined by two female backup singers to add to the upbeat on-stage interaction.

Last comes the larger-than-life white jumpsuited Elvis of the 1970s, who threw souvenir scarves out into the audience and still prompted shrieks and swoons from adoring fans.

The show is being billed as “the closest to the real thing” anyone will see. It’s been taking “only the best of the best” Elvis impersonators around North America since 1979.

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show also featuring The Memphis Beats, Uptown Hornz, and TCB Singers are $44.25 from Ticket Central.
