A comedy tour with the breast of intentions brought in $23,900 for the Canadian Cancer Society after six stops in Central Alberta last month.

The Boob Tour laughed its way through shows in Stettler, Red Deer, Olds, Innisfail, Rimbey and Sylvan Lake.

The Stettler Community Centre show raised $11,000 and the Sylvan Lake show brought in $6,000. Innisfail earned $2,500 and Olds raised $3,900. The Red Deer show raised $500.

Organizer James Uloth said the Rimbey show did not break even on expenses. Uloth said a new committee was formed in the community and he is optimistic this will turn the numbers around for next year.

The Boob Tour returns next April in Central Alberta. For more information, visit www.theboobtour.com.
