The thrash/metal band Tribune will bring some intense, head-banger sounds to The Vat in Red Deer on Thursday.
The Burnaby, B.C., death rockers, who produce such songs as The Succubus, It Came From the Swamps and The Warrior Mentality, are liable to break into tortured shrieks at the hyper-speed strumming of an electric guitar.
Tribune’s third and latest album is called Elder Lore/The Dark Arts, and it has drawn favourable comparisons to Mastodon and Alice in Chains.
Tribune (pronounced Try-bune) will perform in Red Deer with the bands West of Hell and Throne of Vengeance.
