1 suspect charged in 2023 Sunchild First Nation homicide, 1 suspect still at large

Alberta RCMP have made an arrest in relation to the murder of Sheridan Goodrunning that took place on Dec. 3, 2023. 

Police arrested a 26-year-old O’Chiese First Nation resident and charged him with second degree murder. The man was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled in court on Sept. 16, 2024, via CCTV, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Vegreville, Alta.

 On Dec. 3, 2023, at 8:23 a.m., Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a report of a shooting that occurred at the Sunchild First Nation Gas Station. Upon arrival, emergency crews tended to the male victim, however, he died as a result of his injuries.

According to police, one suspect is still at large. Bradley Jerome Jerry, a 33-year-old resident of Edmonton, is currently wanted on Warrant for the murder Sheridan Goodrunning. Bradley is believed to be armed and dangerous, if observed, do not approach and immediately notify police by dialing 911.
