City Environmental Services and Public Works backhoes break up and clear frozen clay beneath 49th Street Monday. The street will be closed again today so the city can install a new fire sprinkler line to the former Uptown Theatre which is undergoing extensive renovations for its new owner, Central Alberta Theatre.
