Emergency services stations are advising the public that 9-1-1 lines are currently down in the Three Hills and Trochu areas.
The City of Red Deer emergency is in close contact with Telus to repair the problem as soon as possible.
Anyone in need of emergency assistance is advised to go the nearest firehall, ambulance station or hospital.
Any county or municipal public works vehicles will be able to assist in the case of emergencies, as radios are still functioning.
