Jaime Urbina urges other Alberta Union of Provincial Employees members to chant as they march along Michener Avenue outside Extendicare Michener Hill Thursday. The 300 members of AUPE Local 047 Chapter 021 are seeking a first contract with the long -term care provider and talks have stalled. The information picket drew about 100 people, many of whom are Extendicare workers. The province has appointed a Disputes Inquiry Board to look into the contract impasse.
