Bike swap at the Collicutt Centre, Friday

The annual bike swap, which brings hundreds of cyclists together to sell, buy or donate a bike, is on Friday at the Collicutt Centre in Red Deer.

The annual bike swap, which brings hundreds of cyclists together to sell, buy or donate a bike, is on Friday at the Collicutt Centre in Red Deer.

The one-day event will involve sellers being charged a 12 per cent consignment fee. Half the profit is donated to the community while the other half funds the next bike swap event.

Bikes that are donated are then given to groups in the community.

The bike intake is from 4 to 7 p.m. with the sale going from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.
