Blackfalds RCMP responded to a “serious motor vehicle collision” along the QEII Highway on Friday afternoon.
At 4 p.m., police issued a media release stating officers and emergency crews were on the scene of the collision, which took place in the northbound lanes of the highway at Gasoline Alley.
Police expected to be on scene for “several hours.”
