The Town of Blackfalds will host an information session to discuss its Downtown Revitalization Plan on Feb. 9.
The document will help direct town development and growth. It will also identify viable and sustainable opportunities to expand the local economic base.
The plan addresses:
• existing natural and historic features
• promoting and attracting pedestrian-friendly traffic
• venues for community activities
• social interaction for a variety of populations
• determining a theme and unique identity
• promoting the future revitalization for surrounding areas
The information session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Banquet Room at the Multiplex Arena, at 5302 Broadway Ave.
