Last-minute entry: Jason Kenney will be part of Wednesday’s Westerner Days parade

Premier Jason Kenney is a late addition to Wednesday morning’s Westerner Days parade.

Westerner Park announced Tuesday evening the premier will be among those in the procession, which is expected to attract 30,000 spectators, rain or shine.

Kenney was last in central Alberta in late June, when he led the Ponoka Stampede parade.

Red Deer’s parade begins at 9:30 a.m.
