The bridge located on Twp. Rd 301 A, the Big Prairie Road, two miles west of Highway 22, has been closed indefinitely due to fire destroying the bridge structure.
Signage and barricades have been erected southbound on Range Road 45 at Shell Burnt Timber Road Twp 304; East and West of the Bridge on Twp. Rd. 301 A and at Water Valley north bound on Twp. Rd 52.
Local traffic will still be permitted to access their residences along affected portions of Twp 301A.
Motorists looking to travel east or westbound on the Big Prairie Road are asked to use the following alternate routes:
• Secondary Highway 579
• Township Road 304 (the Shell Burnt Timber Road)
Motorists looking to travel South on Range Rd. 45 are asked to use the following alternate routes:
• Range Road 52 north and south between Water Valley and the Burnt Timber Road
• Range Road 50 from the Burnt Timber Road south to Township Road 302, two miles west to Range Road 52 into Water Valley
