Photos: Canyon Ski Resort ready for the holidays

Canyon Ski Resort, east of Red Deer, is ready for a full hill opening this weekend. On Christmas Eve, all runs and lifts will be operational, says general manager David Martel. Snow making is almost complete over the entire ski resort.

Martel is hoping the very cold weather is behind them so skiers and snowboarders can get out and enjoy the snow. Over the Christmas break, there are a number of ski and snowboarding lesson options and camps. For operating hours and services visit www.canyonski.ca
