Red Deer Arts Council is promising an unforgettable evening of arts and entertainment at its 50th Anniversary Soirée on Feb 1.
The art council said the fundraiser will be a night to remember with live musical performances by the Andrew Ludtke Quartet, along with dance, theatre and literary reading. Interactive activities will include virtual reality art, a pop-up gallery, and live painters around the venue.
People are invited to celebrate the art council's five decades of fostering creativity while indulging in delicious hors d'oeuvres and mingling with fellow arts enthusiasts. A cash bar will also be available.
Red Deer Arts Council supports artists at all levels of experience — student, emerging, professional, and recreational — from diverse backgrounds. Membership includes both individual artists and community organizations engaged in arts, culture, heritage, and creativity.
The council also works to build relationships with new stakeholders to better develop the richness of our community through arts presentation and by cultivating creative living.
The soirée will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Scott Block Theatre, located at 4816 50th Ave.
Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at showpass.com/rdac50anniv/.
