RCMP are searching for two suspects who were armed with a shotgun during an alleged home invasion in Caroline on May 22.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP said at police were dispatched at 10:11 a.m. that day to respond to a report of two males who entered a residence and pointed a sawed-off shotgun at the homeowner.

A physical altercation occurred and the homeowner was struck in the face. Both suspects fled in a newer model, grey SUV.

RCMP have released a composite sketch of one suspect who is described as 1.7 metres tall (five feet and 10 inches), 20 to 30 years old, with a light complexion. The heavy set suspect was bald.

The other suspect was in his 20s, with a light complexion and blond, curly hair.
