Central Alberta entrepreneurs are being invited to participate in the Catalyst Incubator program.

The eight-week free program is funded through the Central Alberta Innovation Network (CARIN) and provided by Community Futures Central Alberta. It is designed to foster new ideas, make critical connections, and help start-up businesses and entrepreneurs in Central Alberta. Entrepreneurs are being invited to apply for the fall 2024 session and the winter 2025 session.

"An incubator can be the difference between ultimate success and failure for a new idea," said Project Manager Cathy Forner. "We are proud to be able to provide this opportunity to entrepreneurs in Central Alberta and help them get their ideas off the ground."

Qualified Central Alberta entrepreneurs will have access to coaches who guide them through the start-up process, along with networking and weekly tasks. Candidates approved for the program will "learn key objectives of how to build a robust and successful company, with both industry-wide and business-specific considerations."

"We are excited to be able to again provide this proven successful opportunity to entrepreneurs in Central Alberta," said Community Futures Central Alberta General Manager Kelly Kierluk. "We know the Catalyst Incubator program is a pivotal tool in helping the Region’s entrepreneurs, their new ideas, and create a more prosperous future for our province."
