Puzzle players are a passionate lot, as are our horoscope readers.
And they deserve to know that their favourite features will be in the pages of the Advocate, without fail, day after day, week after week.
So we’re making changes to our presentation of puzzles and the daily horoscope column.
Starting today, you’ll find the daily Today’s Crossword Puzzle on the comics page (C2 in today’s paper), along with the daily Cryptoquote feature.
We’ve moved them both out of the Classified section because their status was dependent, day to day, on the volume of classified ads.
We wanted to ensure they didn’t get bumped, so we found them a permanent home on the comics page.
Cryptoquote is also a popular part of our Saturday Diversions page, so we’ll leave it there on that day only.
For the same reason, we’ve moved Nadiya’s Astrology column to the Lifestyle page, were it too will have a permanent home (see Page D6 today).
Because of these changes, we’ll be able to offer the daily crossword Monday through Saturday, as well as continue to offer the larger North of 49 Crossword as part of our Saturday Diversions package.
And we’ll be placing the answers to the North of 49 puzzle in the same edition of the Advocate, to make it more convenient for readers. Look for the answers on the Lifestyle page every Saturday.
