On Monday, Red Deer city council will take a look at the 2010 municipal election.
Council will consider a bylaw proposing an election date of Oct. 18. The election would also include public and Catholic school trustees.
As is past practice, election day would be the third Monday in October.
Nominations would be due four weeks before the election, on Sept. 20.
