City RCMP has new phone number

Red Deer city RCMP has a new administration line for non-emergencies at its new headquarters.

Red Deer city RCMP has a new administration line for non-emergencies at its new headquarters.

This main line is now 403-406-2300 at the new detachment at 4602 51 Ave. The old number, 403-341-2000, is not call forwarding to the new number.

The administration line is answered between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, except holidays. It will not be answered today and Monday.

The RCMP complaint line is still 403-343-5575, the emergency line remains 911.

The detachment has been experiencing problems with its voicemail system so the public may not be able to leave a message.

The RCMP Victim Services Unit number is 403-406-2345.

The public entrance is on the west side of Gaetz Avenue south, just north of 45th Street.

There is no telephone outside the public entrance, so people who are standing outside after-hours will need to call 403-343-5575.

The front counter is open to the public, but it will be closed today. It will be open on Saturday and Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
