The 10 candidates vying for a seat on Red Deer city council will get the chance to participate in a forum next week.

The byelection forum will take place at the Golden Circle (4620 47A Avenue) from 5-6 p.m. on Monday. The event is co-hosted by the Golden Circle, Red Deer Construction Association, BILD, and the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce.

This is the only forum listed on the City of Red Deer’s website.

Advance voting days are April 18-20 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the official byelection day taking place Aprill 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be three voting stations: Parkland Mall, Baymont by Wyndham Red Deer and Westerner Park’s Prairie Pavilion.
