The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, which includes seven different inspection and law enforcement agencies from Red Deer, Lacombe and Edmonton, is doing a two-day roadside inspection of commercial vehicles which began on Thursday.
There will be three random locations in the city and one in the county. Seen here, inspector Dan DeMelo checks brake adjustments.
He says that a normal inspection for a small vehicle will take about 20 minutes, and the larger ones take 45 minutes, as long as there are no complications.
