Dennis Debruyne of Westerose drives his team of appaloosa mules on Saturday in Rimbey. A forecast of cool, blustery weather meant the usual crowd of about 30 participants was down to just 16 rigs at the annual Rimbey Cutter Parade. But those who did show up at the Rodeo Grounds were greeted with a calm beginning to the day, with occasional snow as they marshalled their rigs. However, they were hit with heavy winds and snow as they hit the trail. Drivers and passengers alike thought the snow created the perfect setting. Debruyne’s rig was a crowd favourite, thanks to its matching team.
