One of nine suspects arrested during a narcotics blitz by the RCMP Red Deer street team is seeking help in fighting his charges.

Peter Rauch, 34, was arrested late in November during the undercover investigation and charged with trafficking cocaine.

No longer in custody, Rauch reserved his plea in Red Deer provincial court on Wednesday, stating that he has applied for legal aid but does not yet have a lawyer.

He is to return to court on March 1 to enter his plea.
