Families and students with Red Deer Public Schools can find out about the work of community agencies at a City Wide School Council's Agency Fair on Jan. 14.
“We encourage all families to attend this wonderful learning opportunity. It’s a great way to build connections, discover valuable resources, and see how our community supports education and student well-being," said Shelley Odishaw, City Wide School Council chair, in a statement.
"We look forward to seeing you there."
The fair will give families the opportunity to meet with representatives from organizations, learn about their programs and services, and explore how they contribute to the education and well-being of students.
The drop-in event will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Red Deer Public Schools central office, at 4747 53 St.
Participating agencies include Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, Red Deer Food Bank Society, Alberta School Council Association, Family Services of Central Alberta, CASA Mental Health, United Way Central Alberta, Red Deer RCMP Youth and Community Action Team, and more.
“We are proud and grateful to partner with so many incredible organizations that play a key role in supporting the success and well-being of our students and families,” said superintendent Chad Erickson, in a statement.
Red Deer Public Schools encourages all families to attend and take advantage of this informative and engaging event.
