One man is dead following a motorcycle collision near Stettler.
On May 2, around 7 p.m. Stettler RCMP responded to a call on Hwy 12, east of Erskine where it appears the driver of an eastbound motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and lost control, causing the motorcycle to flip and go into a nearby ditch.
Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
The 57-year-old male driver, whose name will not be released, was spotted by passing motorists and died on scene. The incident is still under investigation and RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact Stettler RCMP at 403-742-3382.
