With a plastic shopping bag acting as a parachute, a gull makes an attempt to escape from its would be captors at the City of Red Deer Waste Management Facility on Friday afternoon. The bird quickly became tired, however, and city employees Paul Weiland, left, Bob Dorsey and Jayson Moore were able to untangle and release the bird with no apparent injury.
