Gaetz Avenue Bridge in Red Deer has reopened to traffic.
City of Red Deer contractors have cleared away debris that had gathered under the bridge and created a safety hazard.
The bridge had been closed since Tuesday for debris removal, creating major traffic congestion on Taylor Bridge.
The southbound bridge is restricted to two lanes of traffic, and sometimes one lane, as other work continues on the bridge.
