Some of the region's top young professionals have been revealed by GenNext, an affinity group of United Way Central Alberta.

The Top 40 Under 40 list recognizes the impact and achievements of professionals under the age of 40 across Central Alberta. Several communities are represented on the list, including Red Deer, Lacombe, Sylvan Lake and Penhold.

“Central Alberta is home to exceptional young leaders driving innovation, creating lasting change, and shaping the future of our communities,” said Alexandria King, GenNext co-chair.

“This year’s 40 Under 40 honourees reflect some of the top leaders our region has to offer, with their diverse talents and unwavering commitment to their communities. From healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs to non-profit leaders and marketing managers, these individuals represent a broad spectrum of professions and passions."

The 2024 honourees will be recognized in a digital publication and individually highlighted across GenNext’s social media accounts throughout the end of the year.

"As we celebrate these honourees, we’re reminded of the broader work of United Way Central Alberta — building relationships and mobilizing resources to meet our community’s needs and create thriving communities," said Chelsea O’Donoghue, United Way Central Alberta CEO.

"40 Under 40 reflects this impact, recognizing talent and empowering the continued positive change they inspire."
