Todd Kelly releases a golden eagle into the wild at the Medicine River Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre on Sunday. Three juvenile bald eagles plus a mature one were also freed.
All the birds, which came from between Sundre and High Prairie, had been nursed back to health over the past few months.
About 40 people turned out for the largest release the centre has ever done.
