The Goossens family of the Rocky Mountain House area are closing in on the $10,000 mark after shaving their heads to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta on Monday. The family started their money raising efforts earlier this year and topped it off with their hair coming off at West Central High School. Tara Goossens said the money drive has been extended to Friday. Tara and husband Rob were joined by their daughters Amber and Breanna. They were joined on Monday in the cutting locks department by seven other boys and two girls, along with the school’s vice-principal.
