David Thompson Health Advisory Council’s meeting tonight is cancelled due to the snowy weather and road conditions.

The meeting was set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.

Council chair Diana Rowe, of Drumheller, said the meeting will likely be rescheduled to early in March. The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 27 in Red Deer.

Regional volunteer councils, like David Thompson, were developed when Alberta Health Services became the single health authority for the province to give the public an opportunity to provide input on health care in Alberta.

David Thompson members live throughout the Central Zone of AHS and include Red Deer, Sundre, Hobbema, Wetaskiwin, Lacombe, Rocky Mountain House, Stettler, Drayton Valley and Drumheller.
