The death of a 19-year-old female in Hobbema on Friday night has been ruled a homicide.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, Hobbema RCMP responded to a call where a female had been stabbed in a residence.
The young female was taken to Wetaskiwin Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
RCMP have withheld releasing the woman’s identity pending positive identification, and are continuing to investigate.
