Motorists try to get a minivan back onto northbound Hwy 2 after it hit the ditch behind a jackknifing semi and trailer Saturday.
The northbound highway was closed north of Hwy 42 to clean up the incident that sent numerous cars into the east side ditch or the median wire fence as they tried to avoid stopped traffic.
Only one woman suffered very minor injuries in the 11:30 a.m. incident. RCMP later closed all of Hwy 2 from Bowden to Airdrie.
Poor weather is expected to continue with more snow, winds of 20 km/h winds gusting to 40 and a temperature of -14 C with a wind chill of -25 C.
