Work has begun on the pedestrian bridge in Kin Kanyon. Damaged by a flooding creek, the bridge has been out of commission since last July. Work will continue through the winter with a reopening date set for late March. The $100,000 expense to fix this bridge and another pedestrian bridge in Rotary park damaged by the same storm will be recovered through the provincial 2010 Central Alberta Disaster Recovery Program.
