Lacombe police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after a string of break-ins in two town neighbourhoods on Thursday and Friday.

Unlocked vehicles again proved to be an easy target for thieves as a dozen reports of thefts of loose change, wallets and electronic devices were reported to police by residents in the Henners Landing and Bruns subdivisions.

Most of the stolen property was recovered in the area.

Lacombe police, however, would like residents in the Henners Landing, Elizabeth Park and Bruns subdivisions to check their property and vehicles to see if other items have been disposed of and to notify police if anything is found.

Lacombe Police Service can be reached at 403-782-3279.
