Mya Lapointe holds up her pony tail after getting her hair cut on Wednesday. Inspired by her aunt who is a thyroid cancer survivor Lapointe decided to donate her hair to the Canadian Cancer program ‘Locks of Love’ and see how much money she could raise for the program in the process. Staff and students at Westpark Elementary School contributed more than $1,500 Lapointe’s fundraiser.
