A 21-year-old Red Deer man charged in a stabbing last weekend will remain in jail.

A 21-year-old Red Deer man charged in a stabbing last weekend will remain in jail.

Keenan Timothy Eagles returns to Red Deer provincial court on Wednesday to enter a plea on three charges after reserving his plea Friday.

He was charged after a 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed during an altercation at a residence in the 870 block on Lancaster Drive about 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Eagles is charged with aggravated assault, breaching probation and assault with a weapon.

The injured man was treated in hospital while another person was threatened with a baseball bat.
