A 45-year-old man died Friday night after his quad plummeted over a mountainous cliff at Big Horn Dam, west of Rocky Mountain House.
Rocky Mountain House RCMP say four individuals were riding their ATVs when one went over the cliff, about 130 km west of Rocky.
The driver of the quad was found dead at the bottom of the cliff.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The man’s name is not being released at this time.
