A 21-year-old man reserved his plea on Monday on an aggravated assault charge stemming from an alleged stabbing incident on Saturday in Red Deer.
Keenan Timothy Eagles, of Red Deer, returns to provincial court on Friday to enter a plea on three charges.
He was charged after a man in his mid 20s was allegedly stabbed during an altercation at a residence in the 800 block on Lancaster Drive about 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Eagles, who remains in custody, is also charged with assault with a weapon and breaching probation.
Court heard that one man was wounded in the incident and another was threatened with a baseball bat.
The injured man was taken to Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre with at least one stab wound. His condition hasn’t been released but it wasn’t considered life threatening.
