A female motorcyclist is dead following a two-vehicle collision west of Rocky Mountain House on Monday afternoon.
Rocky Mountain House RCMP say a motorcycle heading west crossed the centre line about 150 km west of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy 11 and struck an east bound SUV around noon on Monday.
The female driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on scene. The male driver of the truck was not injured. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in the collision. The investigation continues. The name of the deceased is not being released.
