Sentencing of the man who has admitted to the gruesome murder of a Red Deer mother has been adjourned to April 30.

Brett Donald Jones, 20, pleaded guilty on Monday, Dec. 7 to the second-degree murder in the slaying of Teagan Klein in her Anders Park home on Feb. 4, 2009.

Jones was to have been sentenced in Red Deer Court of Queen’s Bench on Wednesday. However, the sentencing has been held over because a psychiatric assessment had not been completed.
