A new ride share company is anticipating a launch in Red Deer before the summer.

Uride is touted as a “trusted local rideshare service committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable transportation.” Founded in 2017 in Ontario, the company focuses on smaller markets. Uride currently operates in two Alberta markets, Medicine Hat and Grande Prairie. They also operate in B.C., Ontario and New Brunswick.

Uride will hold a virtual information session on Thursday, May 5 at 5 p.m for interested drivers in Red Deer.

“We are excited to introduce our services to the area, providing top-notch transportation solutions and substantial earning opportunities for local drivers,” said Uride’s Western Regional Operations Manager Ravi Dhami.

“Our team is looking forward to bringing our commitment to safety, community, and affordability to Red Deer. We can’t wait to get on the road!”
