The opening for G.H. Dawe Community School has been delayed by one day.
School is now slated to begin on Wednesday, September 2 starting at 8:40 a.m.
Administrators had hoped to open the school on Sept. 1, but a major renovation project has delayed the school opening.
Some safety and occupancy items must be attended to prior to opening to ensure the safety of students and staff.
