Ashton Davies, 10, left, and his brother Levi, 12, hang some of their 1,000 paper cranes from the ceiling of the Normandeau School library Tuesday. The brothers made them in hopes of selling them for a dollar each with all proceeds benefitting Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims through the Canadian Red Cross. They’ve also made one large crane they hope a corporate sponsor will purchase by matching or exceeding all donations. The cranes can be bought every lunch hour from in the school library located at 61 Noble Avenue.
