The Jazz at the Lake festival ended Sunday night after a successful seventh run.
Central Alberta musicians joined others from across the province in Sylvan Lake to perform in a variety of venues over four days.
Weather mostly co-operated to ensure free outdoor concerts went ahead, though some were shortened or moved indoors by rain.
Local Verna Fournald, a volunteer and jazz fan, summed it up: “This quality of music in a small town, such reasonable costs and Canadian talent.
What more could you want?”
